The Ultimate 808

I'm so excited to share this instrument with you! It uses a built in sampler which means you can turn ANY 808 sample into a playable instrument. Use the macros to adjust the glide time and add pitch bend or destroy the sample with some knargly distrortion!

Yup. You read that right. This right here is the subwoofer dominator. Bass heads are gonna love this instrument!

Wavetable Riser

Why use sample packs to make your risers when you can craft your own? It sounds hard but not when you have this instrument at your disposal! I've included 2 of them inside the template for even more variation.

Reese Bass

The reese bass is a classic bass sound used in many genres. It's main characteristic is the wobbly 'subtle 'beating' sound that vibrates at different rates depending on what not you play. The higher the note, the faster the beating. Save your favorite presets by clicking the 'new' button inside the interface.

Parallel Reverb

This is like having a return track for reverb but it's built right onto the track. With a built in side chain compressor it will side chain ITSELF. This means the reverb only comes through the mix AFTER the input signal goes quiet. Use this on vocals in a subtle or extreme fashion and keep the vocals sitting right up front in the mix!

Playable Sampler

Originally I had this saved as 'playable perc' but that felt too restricting. This playable sampler is perfect for loading up literally any sample and making it into a playable instrument. Built in delay adds width, reverb for space and saturation for drive!

White Noise FX Generator

This is great for when you need the basic white noise riser, swoosh, or fall. Automate the macros inside the arrangement to make this instrument move in exactly the ways that you need it to.

Saturation Crossover Tool

The dilemma: saturate your sample and the entire sample gets treated with saturation. If you're trying to preserve the lowend on a track to keep it a clean sin wave then this can be problematic... if you use this tool however, you can easily saturate the top end while preserving the low end. Add additional fx to the 'highs' chain for more possibilities!

Bill Slinnton is a music producer and DJ from Toronto, Canada with a passion for electronic music. His inspiration draws largely from the west coast music scene in Canada which is why when asked “what kind of music do you make?” he responds with “I make make west coast bass music” - a combination of west coast style hip-hop beats with the heavy trunk-thumping, immersive sounds of bass music.Scott start the Bill Slinnton artist project in 2012 and has since played numerous local music festivals and opened for the likes of Stooki Sound, Troyboi, Electric Mantis, LAXX, iLL Gates and many more. In 2019 he released his debut EP “The Campaign” which featured 5 tracks showcasing his unique approach to bass music.
